Learn More About Our Services

We are guided by principles that ensure every child and family feels valued, supported, and empowered

Our Approach

Neurodiversity Affirming

We honor all forms of communication and respect each child’s unique way of experiencing the world. Rather than trying to “fix” a child, we support them as a whole person - addressing speech, language, and social-emotional needs while building on their strengths. We presume competence, support regulation, and respect autonomy to foster confidence and self-advocacy.

Child and Family Centered

Every session is tailored to your child’s individual support needs, interests, and priorities. We meet children exactly where they are and center joy and connection in our work. In partnership with families, we develop functional, culturally responsive goals that naturally carry over into daily life. Families also receive coaching and guidance to feel confident supporting their child across all environments.

Collaborative Care

Collaboration is essential to progress. We work closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to support children at home, school, and in the community. By working together, we create a consistent, connected network of support around each child. Through teamwork and open communication, we help children build confidence, generalize skills, and make meaningful progress in everyday life.

“Prior to Kristal, my son saw several speech therapists, but it was with her that he made the most progress. She immediately formed a great rapport with both of us, was patient and thorough, and taught me how to reinforce what they worked on at home. My son doesn’t stop talking now, and we owe so much of that to Kristal - we are forever grateful!”

“When we started with Kristal, our little one was barely forming words. By the time we finished, we had a chatterbox telling stories and singing songs everyone could understand! Kristal was professional, engaging, and thorough, providing guidance and resources that helped us support language development at home. Our little one was always excited to see Kristal. We are so thankful for all of her help. We highly recommend her!”

“A colleague highly recommended Kristal. Our child spoke 4 words at the start of therapy and met with her weekly for almost 2 years. Kristal gauged our child's mood, met them where they were, and picked up on things instantly. She is patient, kind, and engaging, and it’s evident she cares about her patients. Our child flourished under her guidance, she provided tools to continue working on speech at home, and she was a blessing during a time we were worried and concerned. We are so thankful for Kristal.”

“Kristal is the speech therapist every child should experience! After 2 years of sessions, my son’s speech progress has flourished. She makes therapy fun with games and helpful handouts, and her guidance allows us to reinforce what he’s learning at home. Kristal communicates clearly with updates via email or text, which is so helpful for busy parents. Since working with her, my son is less frustrated and communicates confidently at school and with peers. We are so grateful for her expertise and support!”
